In memory of

Norma Salib

December 22, 1947 -  February 14, 2024

Our beloved wife, mother, teta, sister, aunt and friend, Norma Manneh Salib, passed away with her family by her side on February 14, 2024 at the age of 76.

Norma was born in Beiruit, Lebanon on December 22, 1947. She is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Michel Salib, children Julie (Omar), Rob (Rose) and Catherine, and grandchildren Francesca, Marcello and Olivia. She was the beloved sister of Edward Manneh, Rima Manneh Yacoub, and Nouha Manneh Hreish.

She was an incredible woman whose kindness and hospitality were only rivalled by her strength and intelligence. If you had the good fortune to know her, she would no doubt have won a permanent place in your heart. She lived her life genuinely, honestly and with an abundance of love and caring for all those around her.

Norma chose to dedicate her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, and — in her spare time — fed and hosted friends and strangers alike with her culinary expertise, entertaining stories and intelligent debates.

While her story was cut too short by a 4-year battle with cancer, a lifetime would not have been enough time spent with her. We will forever be grateful for every moment and memory she gave us.

She joins her mother and father, Widad and Issa Manneh, brothers John, Eli, Samir and George among the angels.

Please join us in celebrating her life and love on Saturday, February 17.

I am so sorry to hear Norma’s passing.
She was an incredible woman. Wonderful mother, loving wife and amazing friend.
She indeed was very loving person and always open hear and open house, forever supporting and feeding friends, and their children.
My children and I share so many fond memories and laugh reminiscing those.
RiP Norma, and wish courage to Michel and all the children to bear the loss.
