It is with great sadness that the family of Noreen Elizabeth Beasley(nee Cossar) announces her passing, peacefully in the morning of Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 89 years. Noreen was a woman of many talents. She was a graduate of University of Toronto, and a registered physiotherapist. She was also a Canadian national badminton champion, an avid equestrian and a knowledgeable dog breeder. Together, Noreen and her husband, Warren, built and ran several successful businesses, including WaterFun Village in upstate New York, Beasley Bingo at the Exhibition grounds, and Centreville Amusement Park on the Toronto Islands. Later in life, she enjoyed tennis, golf and bridge with friends at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. Noreen will be remembered for her love and dedication to her late husband, Warren, of 63 years; her children, Deb, Tamie, Bill, Kim (predeceased), Renee, Tracey, Warren and Shane, their spouses and partners; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as her many friends. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed. Friends and family are welcome at the visitation centre at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, on April 10th, at 10:00 a.m., and the funeral service at the same location to follow at 11:00 a.m.
