Norah Louise Peters

September 12, 1950 -  December 15, 2016

Norah Louise Peters passed away at her home in Mississauga on December 15, 2016 at the age of 66.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 2nd from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre located at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Reverend Judith Campbell will be officiating. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at a luncheon to be held at the same location.

Norah was born in Toronto to Garnet and Eva Wilson on September 12th, 1950; both of her parents have preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving partner of 23 years, Ken Acheson; her daughter, Monica Peters and her partner, Paul Matiyek; her daughter, Lenore Partridge and her husband, Darrin; her sister, Carol Hodges and her husband, William; her grandchildren, Patrick Peters May, Chasin Boniface, Cierra Boniface and Levi Hill; her step-daughter, Melissa Acheson and her partner, Shawn Hill; her step-daughter Heather MacCrae and her husband, Joshua; her step-son, Kevin Acheson; and her niece, Erin Renton, and her husband, Stephen.

The family of Norah extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Carol Swallow and her team at Mount Sinai Hospital for their incredible care and support over the past 15 years as well as the daily caregivers from the Community Care Access Centre.
