Nos pensées sont avec vous.
I remember Noel when he first came to work at Robertson Motors, and a chance meeting a few years ago, resulted in very pleasant casual dinners together chatting about his early years there, and catching up on the past. He was a lovely gentleman, and I am truely sorry to hear of his passing. He is missed.
I met Noel sometime in the early 1980s. He was referred to me because of the finding of a high iron level in his blood. I found him to have the condition known as hemochromatosis or iron overload. The treatment was phlebotomy, periodic removal of some blood, for which I referred him to my colleague, Dr Tepperman who arranged these sessions.
Noel was a social individual and liked to play golf at Scarborough Golf Club which would often be followed by a drink or two. As iron adversely affects the liver, alcohol consumption with hemochromatosis was an added toxin and, therefore, proscribed. He was very annoyed when I gave him this advice and we had many conversations about the subject.
Noel was a handsome, capable, self-confident, likeable individual who loved life and its challenges. He had a wonderfully successful business career as owner of a major GM car dealership. He was a giving man too and cared for his fellow human beings. When I approached him to contribute to a fund raising effort at Centenary Hospital so we could buy more fiberoptic endoscopes, he responded immediately and most generously for which I was tremendously grateful. I respected Noel for his firm character, humanitarian values and was proud to call him "friend". He was also somewhat impishly playful and full of fun. He was a good human being and made the world a better place. I will continue to remember him with deep admiration and affection.
I extend my condolences to the Croxon family and know the memories of happy times together will sustain and inspire you.
Noel was employed at Robertson Motors Ltd. when my father in law Jack Robertson was the General Motors dealer. I remember him well. A few years ago Noel and I accidently met each other again and arranged to meet to catch up on the paths our lives had taken. We shared pleasant dinners and long ago stories. His passing has saddened many, but I am happy to have had that short time again with him.
My sincere condolences to the family.

Just a short note of condolence to you and Noel's family.
He was quite the gentlemen and a premier 'consort' for Faith for all those years.
All the best
