In memory of

Nobuo Tom Yamamoto

October 5, 1932 -  March 11, 2025

Sadly, on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Nobuo Tom Yamamoto passed away peacefully at Carefree Lodge, North York at the age of 92.
Devoted husband to Miyeko Lily (Katsumi), Supportive father to Paula and loving grandfather to Aidan and Madison.
He is predeceased by his siblings Fumiko (Tsugio deceased), Noboro Nobby (Jean), Keishi Kenny and survived by his brother Sueyuki Robert (Toby deceased). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews and close friends.

Tom was an avid golfer and captain of the Wynford Seniors Bowling League and until recently he was very active, driving to bowling twice a week, and visiting his Lily in the nursing home every other day.

His favourite past-time was watching the Blue Jays, as well as football, hockey, golf and poker.

On July 6, 2023 he was happy to be reunited with Lily when he entered the nursing home where he and Lily just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on February 16th.

Thank you to the staff at Carefree Lodge for taking care of my father and for the continued care of my step mother.

In lieu of flowers and koden, donations can be made to Momiji Health Care Society.
