In memory of

Nimoon Salicksingh

February 9, 1948 -  October 28, 2021

On October 28, 2021, Nimoon Salicksingh got her wings and went to fly with the angels. She was 73 years old.

Born in Berbice, Guyana, Nimoon Ramlakhan Salicksingh dreamt of enriching her life which led her to Canada. With her husband, David Salicksingh, who predeceased her, she was the corner stone in the lives of her family. Nimoon being the matriarch of her family, is survived by her 3 children: Stephen, Michael and Desiree; 12 grandchildren: Andrew, Raquel, Chanté, Misha, Brandon, Mariah, Mikey, André, Jasmine, Braeden, Dominique and Sean and 10 great grandchildren, with another on the way.

Nimoon loved gardening, reminiscing on the old days, knitting, making and eating roti, the show Criminal Minds, nature programs and enjoying her cigarettes. She loved spending time with her great grandchildren Zade and Sanaa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made by sending words of comfort or sharing fond memories of our beloved Nimoon aka “Moonie”.
