It is with great sadness that the family of Nikola Nikolic announces his passing on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the age of 94.

Nikola will be forever remembered by his devoted wife of 67 years, Milica (née Uzelac); children Snezana (Rajko), Robert; grandchildren Jelena, Alexandra, Stevan, Katarina (Dumethre); and countless other family members, Kumovi and friends.

Born February 18, 1932 in Belgrade, Serbia, Nikola left former Yugoslavia in 1962 to work in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1966, in search of a better life for his family. A dedicated family man, hard working business owner and first-class fisherman, Nikola was always the life of the party and lifted the spirits of all those around him. He loved nothing more than spending time with family at his cottage, with fresh northern air in his lungs and fishing rod in hand.

Nikola passed quietly at Royal Victoria Hospital, in Barrie, Ontario. He will be immeasurably missed and eternally in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are warmly invited to the Repast to gather in remembrance of Nikola at All Serbian Saints Serbian Orthodox Church (1375 Blundell Rd, Mississauga) at 5:00 p.m.
