In memory of

Nick Theodorakidis

April 28, 1938 -  March 12, 2020

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dad and grandpa on March 12, 2020. We are comforted knowing he is reunited with his beloved wife Jimena, granddaughter Kaia, parents Panagiotis and Chrissi, and brothers Paris and Haralambos. Nick was a devoted dad to Gus (Melissa), Maria Cristina (Barry) and Peter ‘Macho’. He will be fondly remembered by Lorraine Cumming. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Alexandra (Owen), Nikolas (Nevetha), Fionn, Cael, Sofia (Ryan), Fiona (Erica) and Natalie, whom he would greet with open arms and scratchy kisses. Nick was a loving brother to Kosta (Stavroula), Marika, George (Judy), Evangelos (Minka) and Freda (Tom). Nick leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family in Greece and Spain.
Nick’s three loves were family, food and gardening. Nothing compared to the large gatherings he held in the backyard, particularly for Greek Easter. He greeted everyone with a big smile or tight hug, and no one left without something from his fruit and vegetable garden.
We would like to thank everyone at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa for making our dad’s final days comfortable and peaceful.
As he wished, cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will be held in the spring at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229). Details to follow.

Heartfelt condolences on the passing of your dear Dad and Grandpa. I will always be grateful for the abundant warmth and hospitality that he and “Mrs T.” showed towards me. I had such fun at their family gatherings and I truly felt at home in their company. His wonderful smile, warmth, bear hugs, generosity, strong work ethic, fun loving nature & his love of family and home are to be admired. Much love to all the members of his beautiful family at this very sad time. Our family will miss him and we are grateful to have been blessed to know and love him. ❤️
