In memory of

Nicholas Donald Arif Khan

November 23, 2000 -  September 28, 2024

Nicholas Donald Arif Khan
Nov. 23 2000 - Sept. 28th 2024
Nicholas lost his lifelong battle with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a rare and severe form of epilepsy.
Nicholas achieved his high school diploma, finished 7 college courses, played hockey in three different cities, played Special Olympics, volunteered with seniors and children, The Terry Fox Run, Epilepsy Peel and went to Belwood Camp every summer for many years.
He loved playing hockey on xbox, on the ice and floor, watching it and building his huge collection of hockey sweaters and jerseys. He loved the Olympics and Paralympics, especially winter, and has t-shirts from all the Olympics since 2000. He studied maps and wanted to travel the world, but was always at home on the dance floor at parties.
Nicholas loved life and lived it to the fullest. He always had a smile on his face and brought joy to the people who got to know him and loved him.

Nicholas is so very missed by his parents Jennifer Barrie (Ian) and Adam Khan (Sarah),
his siblings Ben, Ella and Theo and step-siblings Kayla (Dylan) and Brodie, as well as his Grandparents Don Barrie and Catherine Khan. Nick is predeceased by his Nana Jose Barrie and Grandpa Arif Khan. He is also missed by the Mississauga Crusaders hockey club, Behaviorprise, BIAPH, Seneca College, Epilepsy Peel, UofTM, YAC, Turner Fenton High School, his Belwood family and the rest of his many friends and family.

My sweet baby boy. You are always with me in my heart. You are not gone from me. I have to learn how to love you differently now.
I will cherish every moment I was your mother on earth and will continue to be your mother until I see you again.
Love you forever, like you for always, as long as I am living, my baby you'll be.
Give Nana a big hug for me.

I am still in shock over the lose of this wonderful person and was so blessed to know him and watch him grow into the man he became. No matter the struggle he was always positive. Had a great smile and killer hugs. My condolences to the family and the many people he touched throughout his life.
