It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nexhmije (Nana) Okaj, nee Mlloja. Born in Shkoder, Albania on April 8, 1942, Nexhi passed away on January 1, 2021. Nexhi is predeceased by her beloved husband of more than 50 years, Fadil Okaj, by parents Ramadan and Mejreme Mlloja, by her brothers, Skender, Gani and Naim Mlloja.

She will be lovingly remembered by their children, Majlinda, Arben and Mimoza. Nexhi will also be forever remembered by her three granddaughters, Ingrid Tuzi, Rosanna Tuzi and Gabriella Camilleri, by her sons-in-law, Amir Tuzi and George Camilleri, by her sister, Aferdita Troshani, and her nieces and nephews and their families. She will be missed by all her extended family and dear friends.
