In memory of

Nella Fiorino

May 31, 1958 -  November 15, 2021

It is with profound sadness and shock that the Fiorino-Habib family announces the death of Nella Fiorino, who passed away suddenly in her home on Monday, November 15, 2021. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Said Habib, her two children, Isabel and Jamil, her sister Maria and brother-in-law Robert, her brother Tony, her sister Joanna, and her extended family, who will cherish her memory and loving spirit. Nella was born on the Danforth in Toronto to her parents, Ninno and Teresa Fiorino, who were part of the large wave of Italian immigrants who arrived in Toronto after WWll and helped build the city. She was a caring and determined woman who was adored by all who came across her path. Nella was an award-winning designer and an ARIDO member, leading a successful firm, Fiorino Design Inc., for over 25 years. Her many projects include the flagship LCBO Summerhill Train Station, original Crabtree & Evelyn stores, and several projects at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Nella will be remembered for her impact in the interior design community, her radiant gap-toothed smile, and her love of gardening in her summer home in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at MOUNT PLEASANT FUNERAL CENTRE, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd., (North of St. Clair Ave., East Gate Entrance) from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Masks, proof of full vaccination status, along with government issued ID are required for those 12 years of age and older in order to attend the indoor funeral services. Please leave time prior to the service to check-in. A link to view the funeral service will become available at 1:50p.m. and can be found on her memorial page at www.etouch.ca

In lieu of flowers, donations to Stella's Place would be appreciated by the family.
