In memory of

Nejib Bejjany

December 4, 1939 -  July 9, 2020

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Nejib Bejjany. Surrounded by the love of his family, Nejib passed away on July 9th, 2020. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years Mona, and their children. Jean D’Arc (Gerious), Naim (Christine) and Micheline (Tony) and his 7 beautiful grandchildren.

Born in Lebanon, Nejib moved to Germany to complete his University Degree in Electrical Engineering. Nejib came back to Lebanon and married the love of his life. They moved to Canada together in 1967 and started the voyage of 1000 miles.

He had an unwavering passion for poetry and languages. He was a worldly man who loved to travel and was fluent in English, Arabic, French, German and Spanish. His love for languages led him to the founding of β€œThe Mawaheb International Magazine” that was established over 30 years ago. During this time, he has published a book from the many he has written.

He will be remembered by his family and friends for his love, his pleasant nature and the high level of respect he had for himself and others.

Due to the pandemic and the limitations, the funeral has been limited to immediate family only.

May he Rest in Peace.
