Neena Juneja, 75, of Whitby, Ontario, passed away on March 21st after her lengthy battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Neena was born on July 3, 1948, to Col. Manohar Singh and Mehtab Kaur Chanana in Bangalore, India. As the older sister of two loving brothers, Neena's childhood home was respected, disciplined and memorable.

In 1969, Neena met her husband, Surinder Juneja. Neena and Surinder began their life in Delhi, India before making their move to Canada in 1987 with their two children, Gavita and Arshdeep.

Neena’s favorite hobbies included gardening, feeding wildlife, dining out at restaurants, and spoiling her two grandchildren, Sabrina and Nikhil.

Known for her sweetness, caring and elegant nature, Neena will forever be loved and missed by all. She was the most giving person and always put others before herself.

Please join us to honor and celebrate Neena’s life on Sunday, March 24th. Funeral services will be held at Thornton Cemetery in Whitby, with visitation starting at 11am and the ceremony following at 12pm.

Paath and Kirtan will follow at Gursikh Sabha in Scarborough at 2pm followed by langar.
