In memory of

Naser Sarrami-Foroushani

March 21, 1944 -  September 28, 2023

Naser Sarrami-Foroushani, 79, of Richmond Hill, Ontario, passed away at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital on September 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM.

Naser fought his battle against his kidney disease for past two years. Despite spending much of that time in and out of the hospital, he never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his entire journey, he cracked jokes with his grown children, grandchildren, and the nurses.

Aside from his love for his family and work, Naser was passionate about helping his friends and others with their problems at home and abroad. He worked hard and once he set his mind on something, he was relentless and persistent in achieving his goal. He was a risk taker and never shied away from bigger-than-life problems.

Naser is survived by his wife Essi and three children, Ramin, Kamran, and Sasan. He is also survived by his sister, Fatemeh.

Naser’s family will host a funeral service on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by burial services. The service will be at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres in Richmond Hill. You may consider making a donation to the The Kidney Foundation of Canada-Ontario Branch in Naser’s name in lieu of flowers.

Naser was just like my own uncle. I loved him very much. He was in my life since I was born. He used to let me drive his cars when I was only 10 years old. I respected him. He was a great father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. And he was the hardest working man I knew. God bless his soul! I know that he's flying with the angels and drinking Vodka with them. He'll always be in my heart.

In the quiet corners of our memories, the laughter and kindness of a remarkable man live on. He was a beacon of light, a pillar of strength, and a constant source of humor and goodwill. His unwavering dedication to helping others was nothing short of extraordinary, always lending a helping hand whenever it was needed without hesitation or expectation.

With his infectious smile and warm presence, he effortlessly touched the lives of those around him, bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging. Whether it was through a simple act of kindness or a clever joke that lifted the spirits of those feeling down, he had a unique ability to brighten even the darkest of days.

His legacy extends far beyond the moments shared together. The countless lives he touched will forever carry with them the lessons of compassion, selflessness, and the true power of laughter. His generosity knew no bounds, and his impact on the lives he encountered will endure as a testament to his exceptional character.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul, we find solace in knowing that his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched. May his kindness continue to inspire us to be better, to help others without hesitation, and to always find humor in life's challenges. Rest in peace, dear friend, for your legacy of kindness and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you.
