In memory of

Nancy Jeanne Moore

June 17, 1953 -  March 14, 2018

Nancy passed away peacefully at the palliative care unit of Sunnybrook Health Science Centre with her family at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was the beloved wife of Peter Wayne for forty years and loving mother to Andrew Jeremy for 29 years. Daughter of late Morris John Reid and survived by her mother, Margaret McCrobb Reid (nee Stewart). Sister to Allan of Cobourg and William Reid of Pickering. Nancy was born in Toronto, grew up in Cobourg and returned to Toronto in 1978 to live with her husband. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins of the Reid , Stewart and Moore clans. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends and family for her infectious smile and energetic personality. Nancy had a long time involvement with the Toronto District School Board, and as a volunteer with Scouts Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society that extended beyond three decades of active service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A memorial celebration will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 24, 2018 at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre – 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, reception to follow.

So sorry to here this, but glad she is not in any more pain. She was there when I met Chris so I always remember her on our anniversary. We did a lot of scouting together and she was a great scouting friend, she will be missed.

God bless,
Dena

Dear Peter and Andrew,
May I offer my deepest sympathies. I know your hearts are heavy at this very difficult time. Seeing Nancy's picture brought back good memories of the times I was with you all and Barry. I hope you can take comfort in your memories of her and the belief that a new chapter has opened in Nancy's journey as well as your own lives.

God's blessings be with you both.

Terry
