In memory of

Nadine McMillan

August 14, 1956 -  March 14, 2021

Nadine Mary McMillan, age 64, Toronto ON, passed away on March 14th, peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital with her children by her side.

MGH was also her place of birth, born on August 14th, 1956 to loving parents Catherine and Alan McMillan.

Nadine was a devoted Mother to James (Megan) and Emily Simmons. She was caring, independent and the kind of mother that made sure everyone’s bowl was full before her own.

Her love for travel gave Nadine many fond memories, where she made friends, gained family and a lifetime of laughs. Her other hobbies included genealogy, theatre, hanging out with grand-dog Ernie, classical music and reading. She was never three feet away from a good book.

Nadine's command of the english language was unparalleled. So we are hoping she can forgive us for any grammatical mistakes in this obituary.

Nadine will be terribly missed by many family members and friends. We were all better people for knowing Nadine.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions please contact the family if you would like to attend the visitation. Please contact James at 647-230-8167 or eastsidejamie@gmail.com.

Nadine,
We grew up together, well maybe you looked after me more than I could.
Everyday You made sure I got to school.
You gave me hugs whenever needed and sometimes when not.
As we got older and went our own directions, but then not too long ago we met again your hug made me feel home again.
That’s why you have always been my older sister
Love you
John
