Nada Milosavljevic

October 17, 1934 - November 23, 2024

Nada was born on October 17, 1934, in Globoder, Serbia to her mother Radunka and father Svetomir Catic, and was a dear sibling to her sister Latinka and brother Goluban. Nada is the beloved wife of Radmilo Milosavljevic. They married 72 years ago on October 28, 1952. Together, they had two loving children Mirijana (George) and Vojin (Vinka). Nada is also a proud grandmother to grandchildren Milica (Adam) and Natasha.

Along with their two children, Nada and Radmilo arrived in Canada on February 4, 1964. Together with her husband, Nada ran a restaurant business for decades.

After a long and courageous battle with heart and kidney issues, Nada passed away at Humber River Hospital surrounded by family at 6:30 in the morning on Saturday, November 23, 2024.

Nada was my favourite neighbour to swim with, for all of my childhood, from as early as I can remember being alie, and she was always the most loving and kind to me (and also had the funniest remarks.) I will miss her, and I trust that she is resting peacefully and painlessly. My deepest condolences to Roy, Vojin, Marianne and all of their families.

My wife and I are greatly saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mother.Nada. She was a wonderful mother to her children and an even better grandparent, spoiling her grandchildren to their great delight.

Grandma Nada, or “baba” Nada, how we used to call her in Serbian, was such a cheerful and positive person. We only got to see each other 2 or 3 times, but I remember it was really nice talking to her. We would all be happy when we‘d found out her and deda Rala were coming to Serbia to spend summer months here. We enjoyed those moments with them. May she rest in peace.
