In memory of

Nabel Omrin

June 24, 1948 -  January 9, 2025

On January 9, 2025, Nabel Omrin passed away at the age of 76, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Hanan, and their children Shady, Dina (Canal), Michael, and Jessica.

Born and raised in Nazareth, he later made the decision to move to Toronto in his early twenties. He was fluent in Arabic, English, and Hebrew and enjoyed learning phrases from other languages whenever he could.

Nabel had a kind heart and a humorous “goofball” personality, always looking for the joy and laughter in life. He enjoyed being the life of the party and brought smiles to everyone around him. He was a true people person, finding joy in connecting with others. Whether it was a chat with neighbors or a laugh with store clerks while grocery shopping, his warm and friendly nature always shone through.

His unwavering Christian faith was reflected in his love for reading and studying the Bible, its pages lovingly filled with countless highlights and handwritten personal reflections.

We sincerely thank everyone for their kind words, support, and condolences during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre – 1591 Elgin Mills Road East in Richmond Hill from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday January 17, 2025.

A second viewing will be held at the same location on Saturday January 18, 2025 at 1:00pm, followed by a service at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Elgin Mills Funeral Centre.

May his memory endure. He will be missed and always remembered.
