In memory of

Myles Nicholas Trbovich

November 11, 1943 -  June 13, 2021

Myles Nicholas Trbovich born November 17, 1943, was called to the Lord June 13, 2021. Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Mary Ann Trbovich. He will be dearly missed by his brothers Ron (Sharon) and Tom (Shelly Thrasher). Loving Uncle to Christine (Merril Evoy and their children Gage, Kellen and Bronwyn), Anna Trbovich (Pat Hamilton and their children Ross and Ken), and George Trbovich. He is fondly remembered by his devoted Aunt, Erna Dragicevic along with his many Trbovich and Dragicevic cousins.

Myles was a man of deep faith and his gruff demeanor betrayed a simple and kind soul. He was devoted fan to his beloved Detroit Tigers and the Raiders football team and their motto, “Just win Baby” - they seldom did but that never dulled his enthusiasm and support.

Myles was a long time resident of Fountainview (O’Connor Gate) where he acted as Resident Council President for many years. The family would like to thank the staff for their compassionate care of Myles, especially the nurses and personal service workers on his home wing, the ‘Breezeway’.

As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or Toronto’s Sick Kids Hospital.

Condolences can be expressed through the online guest book on this page.

In keeping with his wishes Myles was cremated and will be interred with his parents in Sault Ste Marie at a later date.

Sending my sincere sympathy to all of those family members who lost Myles this week and in particular to Tom who's love for his brother knew no bounds and who's devotion was surely felt and known each and every day by Myles. May comfort be found in knowing that his spirit has been set free so that he can join our Lord of peace in the eternal and everlasting dance. Perhaps a few Detroit Tiger's games too. :)

To Tom, Shelly and the Trbovich family,

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Myles. While I never had the pleasure of meeting him, in hearing about him and reading this obituary, he seemed like a very special man.

The ones we love are never gone; they live within our hearts.
