In memory of

Murray Beverley Sunley

January 13, 1937 -  April 25, 2022

Passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022 at the age of 85, after a long battle with dementia. Beloved husband of Louise for 63 years. Loving father of Bruce and his wife Pat, and Dan. Proud grandfather of Brian(Katie) and Danielle; they were his pride and joy. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, and was most at peace when he was spending time at the cottage on Harris Lake; a place he cherished. He loved to work with his hands doing carpentry, and building anything you can think of. He worked for Orenda Engines in Malton for 42 years, finishing his career there as Facilities Manager in 1997.
Many thanks to the management and staff of Evergreen Retirement Community for their care and support, along with the staff at Credit Valley Hospital.
Guests will be received at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre-Mississauga, 1535 Gateway Road, Mississauga (905-602-1580) on Monday May 2, 2022 from 10 – 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

We are so sorry Murray is no longer with us. His deep resonant voice was a joy, sometimes funny, sometimes wise. He will be missed.
Our condolences go to Louise and family.

We are very sorry for your loss. It seems like only yesterday that we all lived on Beckwith Road. Great memories and wonderful neighbours. Our thoughts are with all of you at this time.
