We are neighbours of Ricky and Amy, and we were deeply saddened to hear about the sudden and unexpected passing of Amy’s mom. We did not know her well, but we often saw her on the street or heard her in the backyard playing with her grandchildren, who were always smiling and giggling around their grandmother. They truly adored her and she them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her as she seemed so gentle and kind. May her memories guide all of you through these very difficult times
Mrs. Chou and I would talk about flowers and I watch her nurture her garden for many years. I only ever saw love for humankind in her eyes. A great example of kindness.
Rest easy now with your Lord. You’ve gone to meet the others and I will see you again.
Twenty plus years as neighbours to the Chous. One might say “ the perfect “ neighbours. Always a smile, always a hello. Always a happy and beautifully kept garden. Watched their children grow and saw the joy in her embrace with her grandchildren. A handful of string beans passed through the fence by her gentle hand, or her healing touch with my less than fortunate orchids , Mrs. Chou’s energy and kindness made us better people.
Rest well,
Greg & Eric.
