In memory of

楊吳淑娟太夫人 Mrs. Shuk Kuen Ng Yeung

April 11, 1922 -  April 7, 2020

Shuk-Kuen Ng Yeung passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at the age of 98. She was a loving mother who was devoted to her family and a grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly. Born in Zhongshan, China, she spent most of her teenage years in Guangzhou. During high school, she was named one of the most outstanding track and field female athletes in Guangzhou. Being physically active since a young age gave her an equally active and sharp mind throughout her life. Influenced by her mom, Shuk-Kuen was a devout Buddhist. She was always compassionate and considerate to others. During her last days, she found solace in God’s Grace and the loving care of her daughters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kwan-Hin Yeung. She is survived by her adopted son, Ringo (daughter-in-law Jenny), 3 daughters, Helen (son-in-law Benson), Lilian and Charlotte. Lovingly remembered by her sister Shuk-Han Loong (brother-in-law Mark), 3 grandchildren, Linda, Pamela (grandson-in-law Gilles), Roger (granddaughter-in-law Cynthia). The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. L.C. Lee, Arlyn and staff at North York General Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18, 2020, 12:00 noon at York Funeral Centre. Only invited guests. York Cementery is closed for the general public. In memoriam donations to the St. Michael Hospital, North York General Hospital or Georgian Bay General Hospital.
