In memory of

駱鍾彩燕 Mrs. Regina Choi Yin Lok

Regina Choi Yin Lok passed away peacefully in a hospice on July 12, 2022 after a 2-year battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hong Kong, Regina got her first job at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) in Hong Kong in 1979 and never left the company until her retirement. Throughout her career at RBC, Regina met many of her life-long friends. In 1979, while working at RBC, Regina met the love of her life, Stephen Lok, and they got married in 1990. Together, they immigrated to Canada and had a lovely daughter named Amanda Lok in 1997. Regina has always said that her two biggest accomplishments in life were raising her daughter Amanda and completing the Canadian Securities Institute courses while working a full-time job.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Regina. In her spare time, Regina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, travelling, window-shopping, reading books and watching TV. Regina travelled to 26 countries with her family and was always fascinated by the history of each place she visited. She also really adored cooking and eating seafood, especially crab.

Regina’s family would describe her to be a loving and selfless mother and wife. She had a very close-knit bond with her family, and devoted tremendous passion and care in always trying to do what was best for her family. Regina will be dearly and immensely missed by her family, who will remember her in every step of their lives.

Dear Regina,

Parting seems to be a kind of isolation. My tears can't help pouring in my heart.

However, I believe that we can meet again in heaven. Farewell at this moment is just a temporary farewell!

Give gratitude for your life. Thank you, Father, for your kindness every day.

Looking forward to seeing your smiling face on the day of re-recounter. I know that you are in heaven with the Lord.
