Yan Cheng passed away peacefully on September 3 surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was a cherished husband to Yanmei and beloved father to his five children, Stella, Sabrina, Casey, Harrison, and Dorthy. Yan will be dearly missed by the people he has touched and impacted in his remarkable 64 years on this Earth.

Those who had the privilege to know Yan, know that he was a man of determination, strength, and intelligence. Yan grew up in humble circumstances and never stopped working to improve himself, his mind, and the life he gave his family. He loved to exercise and keep busy, both physically and mentally. Anyone who has ever been on a walk with Yan knew that he would outmatch you every time, whether rain or shine. He loved learning new things and being able to relish in the simple ones like trying a million different coffee beans to find the perfect one. While he rarely expressed affection through words, his care and love shone through his actions and desire to take care of those he loved. He lives on in the memory of his family and friends and will forever remain in our hearts.
