In memory of

張炳南先生 Mr. Ping Nam Kenneth Cheung

September 16, 1935 -  July 24, 2022

Kenneth Ping Nam Cheung, born in 1935, has lived a brilliant life until the peaceful age of 88.

In the eyes of all that know him, he had been beyond kind and generous. He had always given all of himself to his family: to his parents, he had been most filial; to his immediate family, he had been most loving; to his friends, he had been bounteous.

Kenneth had contributed greatly to the prosperity of Hong Kong, having brought in new technology from abroad: being an early pioneer in the first calculator and other electronic devices productions. He had helped the blastoff of electronic industry in Hong Kong during his time and had been widely known for his “Ken Cheung era”. During his young 20s, he had already built and grown factories for techno giant of his time (from few hundreds of employees to thousands), such as Fairchild, Motorola. He had sat on many MD positions and had been offered to double his salary or other prosperous positions, however, he had always turn them down to place his family in the topmost place in his life.

Kenneth will be greatly missed by all that loved him and inspired by him.

To the greatest beau papa.
You will be missed amongst us, I had only great moments with you, from the first time we met, shared some crepes and cider to our wedding and the beautiful ceremony and passing by the birth of your grand son. All those moments will be engraved forever in my life. I loved all the stories you were able to share with me with your trips to Germany. You did remarkable things in your life and you are a model for me.
I will miss you, now you can finally rest and I know that you will keep looking after belle maman, Bonnie, Michele, Vincent and Nathan.
Rest in peace beau papa.

Mr Cheung was such a sweet gentleman, he was the best father and husband I ever see that always do his best to love, care and worry about his family that I really fond and respect. I have no doubt believing he rest in heavens of any religions continue guarding and protects his family.
