It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Jose De Sousa passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 28 in his home.
Jose was born in Vila Franco do Campo in the Azores island of Sao Miguel, Portugal to Augusto Pereira De Sousa and Ernestina Simas in 1937. He is one of 12 siblings.
Jose came to Toronto, Canada in 1965 to start a life and family in his new adopted country.
A devout catholic, Jose is survived by his children: Joe, Louisa and Nelson. Grandchildren Jason, Mathew, Hannah and Aidan and great grandchild Leo.
Jose was a private, simple man who loved the church and his family above all.
