Chap was always kind and friendly with me whenever we would see each other.
My thoughts are with his wife and their son and daughter, Laurence and Grace.
Chap was a wonderful, caring man with a love of music as well as a strong practical side.
Spending much of my youth hanging out with his son, Laurence, his home has been like a second home to me and his family like a second family.
I feel his loss like one of my own relatives.
My condolences to Laurence and Grace and their mother Julia and to others who were close to this special man.
Dear Chap ( brother)
Thank you caring, when I was arriving from Hong Kong dated back 56 years ago
in June 1967. I appreciated you for ever. RIP !
May God bless you, Mr. Chap Eng, with external life and let perpetual light shine upon you. Rest in peace.
My email address is no good. A friend kept sending me lots of emails everyday that the inbox has taken up double the permitted data ending with my not being able to receive or send any email.
I have briefly met Mr. Eng over 30 years ago. My impression of him was a gentle soul who raised his daughter well.
I have heard so many heart warming and funny stories through Grace about her father.
I truly believe God will lead the way to such a wonderful person into Heaven where no pain, no suffering.
He is in a peaceful place now, perhaps knowing that can bring some comfort and closure to his family and loved ones.
