In memory of

Moses Chadee

October 4, 1944 -  December 15, 2021

Moses Chadee, 77, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021, after a brave battle with cancer surrounded by his sons, Mark Chadee and Brandon Chadee, who will carry on his legacy by living life to the fullest. In recent years, his battle with cancer showed his courage for facing life challenges with a smile and determination. Moses emerged as a hero and remained resilient to the end.

Moses was born on October 4, 1944, in Trinidad to parents Lewis and Sylvia Chadee. He left Trinidad in the early 1960s to pursue a better life in London, England. While in London, Moses worked for the London Transit Commission. He then immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he worked for the Toronto General Hospital and the Mount Sani Hospital until retirement.

Moses married Rashida Gemma Khan, his true love, in 1973. When they met, it was love at first sight, and they had two children, Mark and Brandon. One of Moses' best attributes was his strong work ethic and devotion to his family. All his life, he had been a fighter, overcoming odds and obstacles at every turn with solid perseverance.

He was the joker of the family and had a quick wit, a charming smile, and was always ready to share a laugh. He truly had a gift for finding humour in most everyday life circumstances.

Moses was the beloved husband of the late Rashida Gemma Chadee(nee Khan). His sons, Mark Lewis Chadee and Brandon Marvin Chadee, his pride and joy granddaughter, Milan Alexandra Chadee, and loving in-laws, Nadine Jaggernauth and Wade Munn survive him.

A special thank you to the incredible staff at Sunnybrook, North York and Bridgepoint Hospitals, and especially his caring neighbours, friends and family. God bless you for your support.

He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

To everything there is a season - A time for every purpose under heaven - A time to be born and a time to die - A time to weep, a time to mourn and a time to love.

Dearest uncle, We know you are resting in peace. for we trust in the Lord. you will be missed.. we will remember you fondly of your joyful robust laughter, quick wit and the wonderful times we spent together. You have now journeyed into eternal life. Absent from the body and present with the Lord. May the peace of God cover Mark, Brandon and family, and may our prayers bring comfort and strength during this time of sadness.

Moses always had an encouraging word to give regardless of the situation. I will always remember him for his heartfelt laughter which was very contagious. Moses, It broke my heart when family relations between you and your brother went downhill. You will always remain as a brother to me. I pray God's strength, courage, comfort and unity for Mark, Brandon, and other family members. I pray History will not repeat itself in Jesus Christ Name. I love you guys. "UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE WILL FALL!" Forgiveness is a key ingredient to family life we are not perfect we all live in the same fallen world regardless of location. God bless and protect you all as you all accept the relay stick of life. Live life pleasing to God and pass that relay stick on in GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, FORGIVENESS AND ACCEPTANCE!
