In memory of

Mooniemoon Ramcharitar

April 13, 1948 -  August 26, 2021

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mooniemoon Ramcharitar, She passed peacefully surrounded by her husband , two sons and daughter in-law just as she wanted. Happy and loved!

Moonie leaves behind her bestfriend, soulmate and beloved husband, Joe. They spent a wonderful 50 years of marriage together, through the happiness, tears, laughter, and every other emotion that comes along… they both set a wonderful example of what it is like to be married and in love with your bestfriend. She was and will always be remembered as a wonderful mother to Darrin and Riaz, and loving mother in law to Leena. Moonie was a proud grandmother and adored by her grandchildren Maya, Avin and Aria. She will be remembered by her extended family (including Meher) and her friends. She will be missed by all.

Full of life, Moonie loved to dance, loved to laugh, and often at the same time! She was always exploring new places and always looking forward to new adventures; whether that be outside exploring or relaxing on the beach. She had a love for fashion and a passion for different foods.

Moonie was a fighter, strong willed all the way to the very end, and her legacy runs strong throughout her family. Though she may not be with us physically, her memories, strength, passion and spirit will live on forever.

Friends are welcome to visit the Meadowvale funeral Centre between the hours of 12:00pm – 1:00pm. On Monday August 30th, 2021. Services will be held at 12:00pm, and we will then accompany her to the cemetery at 2:00pm to say our final farewell.
Due to the current restrictions, we ask for those visiting to bring a face mask/covering with them and to be mindful of your time within the building to allow a rotation of guests. For those unable to attend, you are invited to watch a webcasting of Moonie’s visitation and funeral services beginning at 12:00pm.(A link will appear at this time, kindly refresh your web browser should you be on Moonie’s memorial page prior to 12pm)
