In memory of

Monica Anne Juhasz

March 2, 1954 -  June 27, 2019

At home in Whitby Ontario, surrounded by family, Monica passed away from cancer. She is predeceased by her mother Anna and father Stephen.
Monica was born in London, England and raised in Australia and Canada. She has many relatives in Hungary, where her parents were born.
Monica was the cherished mother of Lee and the loving sister of Diana and Stephen. She will also be greatly missed by niece Alexandra, nephew Erik and sister in law Patti.
Her early years were devoted to raising Lee and later in life she met many good friends while working at Service Canada. Her passions were drawing, writing and animals. In particular, she discovered a deep love of cats and up until recently shared her home with two wonderful feline companions, Sylvester and Bugsy, who were considered to be Lee’s half-siblings.
The family is forever grateful to Gillian for her care and friendship to Monica.
Cremation has already taken place. If desired, donations can be made to Regeneration Community Services or your favorite animal care organization in Monica’s memory.

I am very very sad of your passing my friend Monica. I remember way back when I started at Service Canada, no matter how busy we are, no matter how many times I bug you, you always have time for me, even if we are no longer in the same team, be it work related or personal, you're always there for me, like a sister. When I moved to PER to join you in April 2016 I was very happy, we're together again. But a few months later, you're on leave and never came back. But we still keep in touch. The last time was in January 2019. Last NPSW in June I met this girl who looked just like you, your younger version, I have you in mind earlier and the next time I know, you are gone. You are the second of the closest person I know who died recently. I pray for your soul - rest in peace my friend I will miss you. Condolence to her family. Regina
