Moira passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer, at her home in Scarborough, with her family by her side. Moira Lynch, 84 years of age, born in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, immigrated to Canada in July 1960.
Moira leaves behind her sisters Julia and Monica, her son Barry and his wife Susan, her nephew David and his wife Caitlin, and their children Patrick and Julia. She was full of life and laughter, and she was the strongest woman you would ever know. Moira held a position at RBC Dominion Securities as an Administrative Assistant for 35 years. Moira loved travelling on road trips through all of North America and going on cruises with the family to the Caribbean. Her favourite hobbies included going to the movies and reading books. Her weekly scratch tickets were a must! She especially enjoyed a day at the Casino with her family and friends.
Moira enjoyed every aspect of her life, and living life to the fullest.
Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) for a Memorial Service on Friday March 17th, 2023 at 2:00pm with Visitation 1 hour prior. Reception to follow.
