In memory of

Mohan Persad

December 5, 1947 -  November 7, 2022

On November 7, 2022, Mohan Persad passed away peacefully in his sleep at Tall Pines LTC in Brampton, Ontario. He was 74 years old, just shy of his 75th birthday. He is predeceased by his five children, Devanand, Diane, and Devin, Marie and Marc. Born to Bhawanie Persad and Mahadaye Persad, both predeceased, on the beautiful island of Trinidad. Mohan is the fourth eldest of nine siblings. He decided to emigrate to Canada on his own at the age of 25, where he trained to become an automotive mechanic, as he always had a passion for cars.
His brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends enjoyed his company. Being such a lovable person, he was never short of close friends who miss his company now.
Mohan enjoyed watching Bollywood movies, and he loved to sing and dance. Photography was one of his passions and he enjoyed taking photographs and videos of family on special occasions. He loved cars and helped his family and friends with their car maintenance and repairs.
Mohan travelled frequently to Trinidad to spend time with his family in Trinidad and as well to enjoy the delicious Trini food and the beautiful beaches.

In loving memory of Mohan Persad, a dear father, brother, uncle, and a friend.
Even though you are gone, you will always be part of us.

Ram was family to us. We cherished our relationship with him over the years. We are sad about his passing but we find comfort in the knowledge that he is out of pain and suffering. He is now at rest in his heavenly abode. Grant unto him eternal rest oh Lord.
