Mohamad Matinfar passed on December 28, 2024 at 6pm. He was 73 years old. He is survived by his two sons: Amir and Amir Hossein, daughters-in-law: Lyra and Shahrzad, and grandchildren: Vitalia Hasti “Talie” and Mikou Andres.

Mohamad was a loving father and grandfather. He was a retired teacher in Iran and a talented landscaper in Canada. He enjoyed nature and gardening and loved taking care of his other furry grandchild, Chico.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Elgin Mills Cemetery, from 12:30-3:30. Visitation service for family and friends will be in the gathering hall at 12:30pm and burial will commence at 2:30pm.
