In Loving Memory
of

MIYA CHENOA LEEDHAM-DAIGLE
September 7th, 2004 – September 25th, 2021

It is with deep love and much support that we celebrate the voyage of Miya Chenoa Leedham Daigle. With feathers barely enveloping her wings, she left the fragrence of her soul as she whispered in our ear on the waves of the wind. The journey to meet her father in a place beyond the clouds took place on Saturday, September 25th, 2021. Leaving us grateful for being touched by her magical presence and then torn by her absense which came shockingly way too soon
This Angelic soul was gifted to us from the Heavens on September 7th, 2004 in Toronto, Ontario and took a place within her family as the second daughter to predeceased father Jack, mother Sara and siblings Chyenne, Devin and Makena.
Miya was known for her kind and gentle spirit... A Guardian Angel caring for all living things, with a natural understanding and love far beyond her years. Even from a very young age, when her big sister could no longer participate in competitive sports with her, she challenged herself with a solo activity to preserve those special memories the two of them had made together. However, this new solo challenge became a passion in her life helping her find confidence and independance while coming of age. She worked deligently to develope her knowledge and skills and became an elite multi-award winning equestrian which added so much joy to her already amazing accomplishments.
In her brief 17yrs, Miya was blessed with great family and friends, sharing countless adventures and wonderful memories that would extend throughout many lifetimes. This loving environment helped her strive to be the best big and little sister any parent would be proud to call their own
But it was her ability to put the needs of others before her own that made the smile on her face shine the brightest. Not to mention, her infectious laugh that would heal even the grumpiest of people with the silly jokes she would tell.
The love and laughter of this magnificent young lady will be seared in the minds of everyone she loved, as she leaves behind her mother Sara, sisters, Chyenne 20yrs, Makena 10yrs and her only brother Devin 15yrs. Their grief will be shared with the Daigle, Adams and Thomas-Daigle family. Also, being missed dearly by her paternal grandmother, Joan Trudeau and the entire Leedham family, joined by Miya's spiritual grandmother, Virgnia Loescher and the complete McKay-Loescher family. It warms our hearts to know, her loved ones gone before will be there to welcome and guide her through this new realm and all of it's unknowns.
Our precious Miya, as you take the hand of your father Jack and ascend with paternal grandfather, Jack Leedham Sr., maternal grandparents, Marcelle Daigle and Cynthia Hendricksen and spiritual grandfather, Alex McKay we can only hope that you find happiness and peace as you make your way...spread your wings our sweet Angel and we will see you in the clouds.

Dear Miya’s Family,
Our thoughts have been with you.
Our daughter Marlee walked from class to the caf for lunch with Miya when they were in Gr 9. They shared the same birthday. Marlee mentioned that Miya was a friendly and fun girl which made them fast friends in the early day of high school. We will lift your family up in prayer in the coming weeks ahead. Take good care of yourselves.
