Mircea Corutiu passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2016 at the age of 53. Mircea is survived by his wife Liana and son George.

Mircea was a special and devoted husband and father. He was an enthusiastic fisherman and tennis fan. Mircea loved to goof around with his son and enjoyed sharing jokes with friends, always smiling and ready with a satiric line to make people laugh. Not a second goes by that he doesn’t cross our minds: his voice, his smile, his laugh and just his simple humor. Mircea will live on in the hearts of all who love him. He is forever missed and always loved by his wife, son, family from Romania, friends and all those who knew him.

Visitation will be held at York Funeral Centre on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, December 9, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Centre at 1 p.m., followed by burial at York Cemetery.

Mircea, Dumnezeu sa te aiba in paza Sa! Iti multumim pentru toate clipele frumoase ce le-ai petrecut alaturi de noi....vei fi in amintirea noastra cu satira ta haioasa care ne inveselea mereu. Liana, nimeni nu il poate egala la bucuria ce o aducea cu umorul lui calculat, la sufletul mare ce il avea...as il vom iubi mereu...
