Melissa, it’s with great sadness that I learn of your Mom’s passing. Like all of the Lepik women before us, she was strong, independent, intelligent, smart witted and not shy to speak her mind. Our family story is one to be celebrated for generations. My father, Mati, and my aunt Ester and four cousins - your Mom Milvi, Endel, Edgar and Heino made it to Sweden when the family was faced with death by the Russians if we didn’t flee our homeland of Estonia. Sweden welcomed our family as refugees and I will forever be grateful. By Gods Will, all the cousins made it to the safety of our new home in Canada. My sisters and I were blessed to be born in this country and the family always encouraged that we make the most of our opportunities- which we did. Your Mom will be very missed. She will be remembered as a women of conviction and one with an amazing personality. Lastly, your Mom was as beautiful at 84 years old as the day she was born. You have the same beauty and smile. Your Mom will be remembered fondly with love. Kati
