I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I have good memories of our years being next door neighbours. Dan and I had many great chats outside while we got our jobs done around the yard and he helped me with so many little projects. I enjoyed our trips to the Mabndarin and later, when my daughter arrived, she too got to join in the fun! They came for her birthday cake in the back yard and as she got older, she would call Dan and Erna on the phone and go over on Sunday afternoons to spend some time talking their ears off, lol She was always most impressed that Dan would let her drink juice (as much as she wanted!). I have missed having Dan around these last couple of years while he was in the nursing home and now offer my condolences to Erna, Mara and Danny.

I was so happy to see Dusan's smile in his portrait here. We are having a memorial service at Riverside tomorrow and I have the honour to share a few memories of him. His smile and laugh always lifted everyone's spirits.
