Milanka Maretic-Djakovic (nee Tomovic), was born in Bosnia and spent a majority of her life living in Belgrade, Serbia and Toronto, Canada with her husband Lazar and her loving family. Milanka passed away at the age of 78. She was a beloved, and loving mother to her children Petar and Biljana. Her selflessness for her family is what her four grandchildren Marija, Djordje, Petar, and Stefan will most remember her by. Milanka was a devout Christian and kind woman, whose strength and perseverance will be cherished by her siblings, husband, children and grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be performed Wednesday at 1:00 PM at York Visitation Centre.
