In memory of

Mikulas Cutz

September 7, 1941 -  July 2, 2022

The Cutz family is saddened to announce the passing of Mikulas (Mike) Cutz on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
In his final days at Humber River Hospital, Mike felt the love and warm presence of his children, first-wife, and grandchildren before returning home to the Lord in Heaven.
Born in the former Czechoslovakia on September 7, 1941 to the late Ernest and Helena Cutz, Mike is survived by his three younger brothers, Ernest (Josette), Karol (Maja) and Andrew and his first wife Anna.
Loving father to Robert (Iveta), Nicolette (Ken), Thomas (Michaela), and Cathy (Jeff), and proud grandfather to Daniel, Christopher, Gabriel, Vivien, Julien and Joshua, he will be greatly missed.
Escaping communism in 1968 and arriving in Canada with nothing but education and motivation to make something of himself, he went on to work and teach in the faculty of Electronics Engineering at the University of Toronto. Later he ran a very successful engineering consulting company with his wife Anna.
Although he was fortunate to enjoy the finer things in life, nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by his family and friends, enjoying great food, wine and time together.
Visitation and funeral will be held at York Cemetery and Funeral Home on Friday, July 15th at 12pm.
