It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Mike Granato, on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of 79. Loving father of Patricia (Justin) and Michael (Melissa). Proud Nonno of Mikayla and Vienna. Mike will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, his family and friends both here and in his birthplace of Santagata Di Puglia, Italy and the community on The Danforth. A Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, on Monday, March 11, 2024, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. & Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Thorton Cemetery, Oshawa.

This is an incredible loss. We are so very sorry for your sudden loss of your Dear Father. He loved his family so much ,and we have great memories of bbqs dinners and get togethers. We celebrated holidays together, many special moments. You were always generous and a big heart. You will be missed and we pray for courage for your family to go on without you.

Mike will be greatly missed. He was a good friend for many years lots of good times at the Danforth café lots of great concerts at Rama Casino Tony Speciale and I used to visit him almost daily when he had the club on the Danforth for an espresso and a game of cards and lots to get together dances and concerts always lots of fun spoke to him not too long ago I’m very sorry to Here he is no longer with us my deepest condolences to the entire family
