In memory of

Michael Wayne Reardon

May 25, 1942 -  May 21, 2021

Mike died peacefully on May 21, 2021 at the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital with his family by his side. He was 78.

Lovingly remembered by his wife Christine, daughter Merry and son-in-law Herb Garbutt. Mike was predeceased by his daughter Michelle, his sisters Constance and Barbara and his brother Paul. He will be missed by his extended family including his brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Mike was a proud member of CUPE and fondly remembered his time as a custodian with the York Catholic District School Board at St. Anthony Catholic Elementary School in Thornhill and Christ the King Catholic Elementary School in Richmond Hill.

Mike was a talented musician and enjoyed playing guitar, banjo, harmonica, ukulele and other instruments. He was an aviation enthusiast and spent many hours flying his flight simulator on his computer. He had a passion for cars and often told stories of the time he spent at Pinecrest and Sunset Speedways watching family members race stock cars. Mike enjoyed photography and spent many hours behind the camera and in the darkroom.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a small service will take place with family members on May 27, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. The burial will follow the service.

In remembrance of Mike, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to your favourite charity.
