In memory of

Michael Robert Tymkow Taylor

In loving memory of
Michael Robert Gabriel Tymkow (Taylor)

Rob Taylor (or “Robbie” as family and friends knew him), age 41, passed away suddenly at his home on May 7th, 2023, in East York (Toronto), Ontario. Rob was born on November 2, 1981, in Vieux Fort, St Lucia, the loving son of Charles and Tammy Taylor, stepson of Sharron Brady and stepbrother to Adam and Claire Dickson.
Rob will be remembered as a funny, joyous, and kind person who was full of life. He was always happy to give to others what he didn’t have for himself, and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Rob knew him as a kind, helpful, and generous soul.
Rob enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Whether it was hanging out with his friends or playing video games at family gatherings with his younger cousins (who usually won the games), he enjoyed catching up with aunts, uncles, and cousins, partaking in large feasts at family gatherings, or going out to eat with friends. Rob’s first love was food. Anyone who knew him can attest to this! He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage and was a movie nerd who watched the same movies repeatedly and laughed every time (“The Three Stooges” was a favorite).
Rob will be greatly missed by his huge extended family and all his lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will take place at 1:00 -3:00 on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, Ontario M1K 1R1 (416) 267-8229.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Daily Bread Food Bank (www.dailybread.ca) to help others in Rob’s honour.
“Grief never ends…. But it changes.
It’s a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor
A lack of faith….
It is the price of love“
