“As long as we remember a person, they’re not really gone. Their thoughts, their feelings, their memories, they become a part of us.”
Justin Cronin

Maigonis Michael Kulainis, 93, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, passed away on Thursday July 1st, 2021. He passed away peacefully in hospital with his family by his side. Meeting in the southern English weaving mills and marrying in 1951, soon to welcome the first of two children, Mara in 1952 and, after moving to Toronto, Canada in 1953, Marco in 1964.

It is such a sad day to loose you Uncle Mike. You were my parents closest friend since you all met in England after WWII, but became family and will always be my uncle. You are the best of men, showing a silent strength through all the challenges you met in life, and sharing your interests and excitement for things. You celebrated life with us and supported my family in its time of need. You led by deed and example, always humble.
You will always be in my heart and I feel truly blessed that you have been part of my life and the lives of my family.
