Professor Emeritus of Linguistics, York University, Canada, passed away on October 11, 2016 in Toronto. He was born in London, England on 1931. Remarkable for his Linguistic ability, intelligence and creative talent.
Michael was greatly loved and will be vividly remembered. He is survived by his daughter Karen and nephews and nieces Robin, Anthony and Rosalie Ferner, Alex Isaacs and Louise Borochov, and predeceased his sisters Eleanor Ferner and Daphne Isaacs, and former wife Sidney Thomson.
