Mullen. Michael Joseph Mullen 92 of Toronto Ontario passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 peacefully at home. Born September 8, 1928 in Cootehill County Cavan Ireland. Son of the late Michael and Kathleen (Dempsey) Mullen. He grew up in Ireland as one of 15 siblings he was always very proud of his Irish heritage and like to get back to visit every chance he could. Michael and his beloved wife Olive (Gertrude) Decided to move their family to Canada settling in Toronto Ontario. He worked hard his whole life as an Engineer from Molson beer company. He and his wife Olive (Gertrude Dobbyn) Mullen (who passed in January 2008) raised two boys Stephen and Patrick Mullen in the Toronto beaches area, where Michael still remained to this day. He and his wife Olive also helped to raise their two granddaughter Ashley Harris (Mullen) and Hayley Mullen. Michael was a hard worker and a loving man to everyone who knew him he has left behind a legacy and light that will be remembered always. Michaels greatest joy in his older age was getting to watch his great granddaughters grow enjoyed playing with them every morning at breakfast. Michael is survived by his sons Stephen Mullen, Patrick Mullen and his wife Vikki Mullen (Brown); his granddaughters Ashley Harris (Mullen) and husband Michael Harris, Hayley Mullen; his great granddaughters Kennedy Harris and Kylie Harris; his siblings Joseph Mullen, Bridie Mullen, Bruno Mullen, Winifred Petrie, Gerald Mullen, Kathleen Toland, Rose Isaae, and Francie Mullen. Michael was predecessed by his wife Gertrude (Olive) Mullen; daughter in law Joanne Mullen (Duco); siblings Tommy Mullen, Margaret Mullen, Benjamin Mullen, Patrick Mullen, Lili Powell and Mary “molly” Mullen Margotta. Because of the Global pandemic there will be a small service for just the family at Pine Hill cemetery Tuesday, June 15, 2021. His memory is a keepsake which we will never part with God has him in his warm embrace and we will all carry him in our hearts.

Mike and Olive really stepped up when my Sister Joanne Mullen tragically passed away leaving two very young daughters. We will be forever grateful to you Mike for all you did financially and the love and care you gave the girls. Rest now. You will be loved.
