In memory of

Michael Joseph Hall

March 10, 1941 -  September 9, 2024

Michael Joseph Hall (Big Red)

Surrounded by the love of his family, Mick died peacefully on September 9th at the Brampton Civic Hospital after a long courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine of 61years, and their children Steven, Alison (Charles) and Louise (The late Ricky). He was a proud and devoted grandad to Miguel, Anjali and Levon.
He will be missed by his extended family in England, Ireland, Australia and the USA.

Mick was born in Stockport, England and immigrated to Brampton with the family in 1976 to start a new and adventurous life here in Canada.

He continued his work as a draughtsman for over 25 years and made many lifelong friends along the way.

His passion was football (soccer) and he was a dedicated player in England known as “Stonewall” - a great defensive player. He was a big part of the Chinguacousy Soccer Coaches Club as a player and secretary for the club. He was an avid supporter and follower of Manchester City.

He loved to travel and had many trips all over the world, sharing many of these trips with dear friends.

His memory will be forever cherished, known as a true gentleman, honorable and genuine man.
He will be missed by many, may his soul rest in peace.

Mike or Mick as his wife always called him, was a friend who played soccer with me and he was as his nickname suggests Stonewall. He indeed was a stonewall at the back of our defense. It was a pleasure playing alongside Mike and he will be sadly missed. My condolences go out to the family.

Met Mic & Elaine back in the early 80’s when Ali & I became friends in high school. Had the pleasure of getting to know them and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. Mic & Elaine’s banter back and forth was hilarious and priceless. Mic was such a kind man with a great sense of humour. I loved our sweet inside jokes! Mic - you will be missed. Rest in Peace with the Angels, my friend.
