Michael J. McKay, aged 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long illness, at Teddington Retirement Residence in Toronto, on June 6, 2022. Michael was a lifelong Toronto resident who spent his formative years attending Upper Canada College before embarking on a long and successful career in the actuarial and benefits industry culminating in his role as President and CEO of Buck Consultants Ltd. Michael was an avid golfer and former member of Rosedale Golf Club, Beacon Hall Golf Club, The Loxahatchee Club as well as the Cambridge Club. His other interests included fly fishing, travel, reading and music. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Mary O’Connor and Robert McKay.

A private burial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
