Michael passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on September 1, 2023 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his father George and is survived by his mother Patricia and by his brothers Chris and Dan. Michael is much loved by nephews Eric (Amanda) and Justin (Sonia), great nephews Liam and Wyatt and great-niece Evelyn. He will also be greatly missed by faithful helper Beth Paddick. Mike was a long time employee of the city of Oshawa and spent most of that time at Northview Community Centre where the staff and many clients will remember his willingness to help. Friends may call at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Monday, September 11, 2023 for visitation from 12 noon with interment and reception to follow.
