Our Dad Michael passed away peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2022 surrounded by the people he loved best in this world. He valued family above all else and was very proud of the one he created after coming to Canada as a 19 year-old, hoping to make enough money to bring his fiancée over and start a new life. He was a devoted and beloved husband to Betty for almost 65 years, a dedicated and fun-loving father to Rick, Linda, Laura, Larissa, Leona, Raymond and their spouses, passionately proud of his 17 grandchildren, and doted on his 7 great-grandchildren. He was also very fond of his large extended family for their loving support throughout the years.

We wish to thank North York General Hospital 5th and 3rd floor doctors and staff, especially Dr. Stephanie Tung, Dr. Matthew Sem, family physician Dr. Jennifer Hunter and staff, for their compassionate and exceptional care. Special thanks to Hennick Bridgepoint 9th floor Palliative staff for their warmth and kindness. We are also grateful for the empathetic and outstanding care received from Dr. James Kitchens who formed a special bond with Dad at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital. Thank you for your compassion, especially towards our Mother.

In lieu of flowers, our Father would appreciate donations to North York General Hospital, or Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital. A private funeral service will be held.
