In memory of

Michael Frederick Peters

September 14, 1952 -  January 17, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Frederick Peters on January 17, 2024, at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. Beloved husband of Sophie for 44 wonderful years, loving father of Sean (Brenna) and Jim (Cailin) and proud Papa to baby Hugo.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength. He spent a lifetime dedicated to his family and community. He was a man of integrity, whose values shaped the lives of those around him and will be remembered for his love of sports, boating, cooking, Jimmy Buffet, and his dog Molly, whom he enjoyed many walks with over the last two years. Michael will be dearly missed, but his spirit lives on in the love he shared with his family and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ma, Dr. Jang and the exemplary staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their care & support.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bike 4 Mike Team [https://supportthepmcf.ca/ui/NP24/team/554458], who will be riding in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

May he rest in peace, forever remembered, and cherished in our hearts.

We are both very sad about the passing of Mike Peters. We did not have enough time with him. However, the time we have spent with Mike, Sophie and family we have enjoyed immensely. The family reflect Mikes own values; interest in sports and good food shared with each other, kindness and warmth to friends and family and of course a love of dogs. We send our sincere condolences to the entire family. Mike has gone too soon and we wish him peace.
